If the subject of the verb DOES an action, the verb is Active.
Aditi writes a letter.
If the subject of the verb RECEIVES an action, the verb is Passive.
A letter is written by Aditi.
An object is used after a Transitive Verb. Test: V + What/Whom = Object
He wants toys. (V + what = toys)
I adore her. (V + whom = her)
An object is NOT used after an Intransitive Verb.
I am going to Shimla. (Prepositional obj, not direct obj)
He walks fast. (adverb, not object)
She has come to the office. — Intransitive Verb (no direct object)
